Found this place while searching for hotel rooms and found the price very comparable. We were driving up from Las Vegas to see a show at Tuacahn and we forgot about the time change so we weren't going to be able to check in before the show. We called the Seven Wives Inn and they were very accommodating. We were able to get into the rooms even after midnight which was such a relief. The place is absolutely adorable. We stayed in the Jane attic room which was an A frame room with two beds and we were able to see the whole bed and breakfast on the way up the stairs. In the morning we had the parfait and a scrambled egg crepe which was delicious. The owner was very helpful and the whole process was very easy and pleasant. Definitely recommended for anyone in St. George looking for an alternative to a hotel in a historic part of town.

Landed in Las Vegas on a trip to Bryce and Zion parks we stopped for an overnight in St George, Utah about a 2 hour drive from Vegas. Art galleries, great restaurants and bed and breakfast inns a winning combination that mad us sad to be spending only a day here. Stay at the Seven Wives inn and try to reserve the Ada cottage. Charming, roomy, private and affordable. When you check in they give you a menu and you order what you want for breakfast (included) and chose the time you want it served in the dining room. Stay here.

We planned to go to Zion National Park and found the Seven Wives Inn, good price and location. We stayed in the Mary room and I had a good soak in the claw foot tub. Comfortable bed, clean room, totally delicious breakfasts. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What a charming B&B! We stayed in the "Mary" room (located in the President's house beside the main building) and were enchanted. This room boasted a queen bed, claw foot tub, and enough pillows to host a kid-friendly pillow fight. (Yes, the rooms are all named after the wives of a polygamist who was hidden away by the man who built the houses.) The decor and architecture retained their Victorian vintage and the very friendly staff only enhanced our already wonderful impression of this establishment. And the food! Oh my. Your choice of 3 breakfast entrées is served between 8-9 am; for my breakfast, I chose the sausage and egg strata, which came with toast and bacon. So good. Seven Wives Inn is a few minutes' walk away from Ancestor Square and the historic section of town. This B&B is one I highly recommend and one I look forward to visiting again.

We went here for a Girls Weekend in 2010 or 2011. I come up to St George often but never stayed here. What was so fun was that my Moms house where she grew up is around the corner! This place is charming, very comfy/luxurious accommodations . The staff is fantastic! We felt like we were staying at a friends house. And of course breakfast is amazing! There is a swimming pool out back and you can buy their granola, get its yummy. I would love to go back

I LOVED MY ROOM! It had a Ford Model T inside the room and it was converted into a hot tub. FAAANTASTIC~~~ This would be the "Sarah" room (their most expensive room). It's well worth the money for the experience. There's an extra bedroom in this room for a child or third person as well. I especially liked the organ that's in one of the communal spaces too. It's apparently the first B&B in St. George and is diagonally across from Brigham Young's winter cottage. It's also walking distance from the eateries. The breakfast was also simple but yummy and the service was great. I'll be sure to come back on my next trip to St. George.

Loved my stay here. So cute! So much character and history! We arrived very early and the front desk was kind enough to have our room cleaned ahead of time. It was so helpful because we were extremely tired from a long backpacking trip in Zion and couldn't wait to get into our room for a hot bath and a nap! We had an early flight the next day, so didn't get to try the breakfast (unfortunately). But the room (Mary) was clean, quaint, and actually bigger than I thought it would be from the photos. What a great value!

I've spent a fair amount of time here. If you're driving through Utah or headed to Lake Powell, this is one of the best places to stop. The Seven Wives Inn is an historic Bed & Breakfast. Hands down...it's one of the nicest properties for miles around. It consists of two, quaint and nicely furnished homes. Adjacent to each other. Each of the rooms is decorated in period furnishings and named in honor of one of the Seven Wives who used to live on the property years and years ago. They have a small but well kept pool. Some of the rooms have sofa beds and are able to comfortably sleep a number of people. Your room cost includes an elaborate fresh breakfast in the morning. Breakfast can be brought to your room at your pre-arranged request. My only gripe about their breakfasts is the same one I have for most B&B's. 9 a.m. is just too early to expect people who are still attuned to another time zone to eat and split. I've stayed in a number of their rooms. The dis-attached guest house is nice, Kathy Bates rented it when traveling through the area while we were there. But there are actually better rooms than their guesthouse. Downstairs in the main house there's a private room with a two person tub that was created in the seating section of a relic automobile. Each room is different from the others and has it's own charm. There have been rumors of ghost sightings in the attic guest room upstairs. This room has a secret second room hidden below the floor. The original owners apparently used the hidden room to hide extra wives and children after polygamy was outlawed. This property is worth the visit. Much much better than The Penny Farthing right across the street.

Great place to stay! We met Vanessa (the owner) & the newest addition, adorable little Brooklyn! What a cool gal Vanessa is, she took time to visit with us and answered questions we had about St George. We stayed in Lucinda which was nice & very clean with a comfy bed. Next time we will try Harriet. The other lady who helped serve breakfast, didn't get her name was also very friendly. The Inn is in a prime location for walking around quaint, beautiful St George! Thank you Vanessa & Brooklyn for sharing your beautiful home!

To break up the drive to LA, we stopped. Great location in the historic district, lovely old buildings a bit worn- think Grey Gardens or southern plantation fallen on hard times. The pool was small, but refreshing in the heat. If stairs are a problem, consider the spacious downstairs rooms. We stayed in Lucinda and enjoyed it quite a bit. High points: clean; great innkeepers; comfortable King bed; charming and eclectic furnishings; delicious breakfast; quiet house and neighborhood. Low points: Jerry-rigged plumbing and electrical fixtures; insufficient instructions on A/C and TV; meager ice supply had to be chipped out of communal freezer; no robes. Fourth star for effort and charm. Worth a stay, ask for AAA or other discounts.

My mom and I came up to see the play Thoroughly Modern Millie (Great Show by the way). This B & B is cozy. We did stay in the room that's pictured. The bed is comfortable, hugh shower and Jacuzzi spa tub. We would stay here again

Loved this quaint little place! Close to restaurants in downtown St George; it was a very easy walk to dinner. They had a great breakfast as well.

My wife and I visited Seven Wives Inn this past weekend on short notice. The Inn was open and very accommodating to our late arrival. The room Eliza located in the President's house was very comfortable and clean. Our breakfast was great as well; Omelet with Ham, Cheese, and Spinach. The eggs are FRESH from chickens located on property. I personally found them and couldn't believe it. This breakfast was served with GREAT coffee, juice of choice, fruit, bacon and toast. YUM! They have two other meals as well; Oatmeal which looked delish and a fruit parfait that was a recipe of the previous owner that is to be very special. We lucked out not selecting it but our experience was enjoyable. Their rate was also very reasonable in comparison to the hotels in the area. If we visit St. George again we will definitely visit Seven Wives Inn again. :-))

Quaint, nice place, very attentive service. Building is old/historic, but well kept up and actually quite interesting. Located near the center of town. Was a lot more fun to stay here than in a "chain hotel". Enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to and from dinner. Would have given 5 stars, but felt the breakfast, although good and well prepared was a bit limited in size.

Such a charming place! We stayed in the Harriet room and had a nice relaxing time sitting on the little porch. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was so quaint! The breakfast was delicious both mornings (Which says a lot coming from a chef). We loved the history of the house and enjoyed peeking in at all the other rooms with the antiques! The innkeepers were very nice and super helpful! When we come back to St George, we will definitely stay here again!

A beautiful B&B place! We stopped by St George on our way up to Salt Lake City and I am so happy we did, the small town is gorgeous. This B&B is located in a nice area that is close to downtown and also to a small hiking area that was only a 10 minute walk. We stumbled upon the beginning of some small hiking trails that gave us a 180 degree view of the whole city! The breakfast at the B&B was top notch and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in! This place has so much history and character, it was very lovely.

What a great stay! We made last minute reservations, and the inn keeper was so very accommodating! We woke up to a great breakfast every morning! The rooms are all adorable, comfortable, and relaxing! We really felt at home, we had a large party with 4 rooms all close together, it was perfect! We will be back!
